Ayurveda workshop is an 8-week series online program for those who want to learn about this ancient science and how it helps to achieve the goals of AROGYA.
8- week series session (once per week for 1.5 hours each week). It is based on “Healing Your Life: Lessons on the Path of Ayurveda” by Dr. Marc Halpern. In these fun and interactive classes, we get a basic understanding of all three doshas of Ayurveda and how to balance these doshas with different therapies.

Ayurvedic Yoga therapy is based on yogic nidana and a full set of treatments like diet, massage, detoxification, and rejuvenation which is provided by Ayurveda. So, we don’t need a new system of medicine but we apply the connections between Yoga and Ayurveda as Ayurveda is the healing side of Yoga.
In this therapy, we learn to control physical prana, Vata dosha. As Vata dosha is the main cause of the imbalance of the other two doshas (Pitta and Kapha) in the body, so it is very important to control Vata dosha by calming down the mind.
This class is a gentle yoga class for all ages, and all levels, starts with yogic philosophy and science behind it, our 7 chakras (body energy channels) activation and balancing, then some grounding poses and stretching poses to get ready for daily activities and helps to balance body and mind which plays an important role in the healing process.
It is a sequence of poses at a slow pace emphasizing peace, and calm in mind and body. It is the same as vinyasa flow but at a slow pace, where we hold poses for a longer time, taking more breaths in each pose and focusing on the stability of each pose. This sequence strengthens the body and brings more clarity to the mind.
Meditation, pranayama, and chanting - this class starts with meditation, then pranayama, deep breathing, and chanting to reduce stress and calm down the mind.
